When CS Garden Offices approached us, their PPC campaigns were underperforming due to several critical setup issues. A major problem was inaccurate tracking, which was significantly impacting reporting and the quality of data feeding into their Google Ads account. This was partly caused by the cookie consent pop-up being configured in a way that drastically reduced data capture, meaning valuable user behaviour and conversion data was being lost. In addition, their location targeting was too broad, resulting in budget being spent on clicks from areas outside their service region near Portsmouth. These inefficiencies were inflating the cost per lead and making it difficult to assess the true return on ad spend.

Solution

We began by resolving the tracking issues to ensure accurate data collection, including reconfiguring the cookie consent setup to improve visibility of user actions and conversions. Once reliable data was in place, we refined location targeting to focus exclusively on relevant service areas, helping to reduce wasted spend and improve lead quality. We also restructured the ad copy to better highlight CS Garden Offices’ unique selling points, making it more engaging and relevant to their target audience. In addition, we implemented Performance Max campaigns to leverage Google’s machine learning for improved reach and conversion rates, while advising on website performance improvements to further boost results. These combined changes allowed the campaigns to run on accurate data, target the right audience, and generate higher-quality leads at a more efficient cost.
