The challenge

Mick George wanted a new website to manage orders and delivery of building materials including lorry loads of blocks and bulk bags of sand and aggregate, as well as ordering concrete and skips. The new website needed to be able to look at the buyer’s location and identify the nearest depot to place the order, which might be owned by Mick George or a third party. The build was complex, since skips and concrete are sold based on volume and distance, and always quoted.
