The challenge

Heavenly Homes came to Wired Media after having challenges with there Magento website, Organic traffic was in decline and they needed to work out why and how to fix it. We established quite quickly that there were technical issues on the site that were having a negative effect on performance and changes to the site structure and navigation would improve how Google crawled the site and its visibility.

The solution

We started the project with a detailed technical report and keyword research, changes to the navigation structure was made and we working on other areas such as page speed and page indexing. On completion of all technical fixes we created the functionality to include copy onto all category pages. We were then able to start creating category page content which significantly helped increase non brand keywords

With the run up to Christmas we switched focus to try and ensure the website was ranking for as many Christmas related keywords as possible. Keywords of note included, “Gold baubles, “Gold and silver Baubles” “XL Candle” amongst many others, totally thousands of monthly searches.
