Digital Marketing: Sortera

London skip hire and construction waste services

“They are exceptionally supportive, quick to respond, and have significantly upgraded our online presence.”

The challenge

Sortera needed a joined-up approach to its website, SEO and paid search, helping homeowners and businesses find and book skip hire across London and the surrounding counties.

With different skip sizes, waste types and postcode-based pricing, the customer journey had to make it easy to find the right service and get an accurate quote. Our teams worked together to strengthen local search coverage, improve campaign relevance and keep the online booking experience reliable.

The solution

Our SEO team expanded location coverage and published useful residential and commercial skip-permit content for London boroughs and surrounding counties. We also worked on internal linking, local page structure and the next phase of the location-page template.

Website support kept the booking journey moving. We refined the WooCommerce and Weighsoft integration, improved postcode validation so customers could enter postcodes with or without a space, and fixed issues with blog-category titles and meta descriptions. Ongoing WordPress and plugin maintenance supported the wider work.

Our PPC team reviewed search terms and negative keywords, tested responsive search ads, refined Performance Max search themes and balanced budgets and target ROAS settings. Device-level adjustments and regular campaign reviews helped focus paid traffic on relevant demand.

UK organic clicks reached 947, up from 494 a year earlier, while organic impressions rose from 161,629 to 200,944. Google Ads clicks grew by 70.5% compared with the previous month, with cost per click falling by 13.7% as campaign spend increased by 47.1%.
