The challenge

Snow Peak sells premium camping equipment, outdoor cooking products and apparel. Its paid campaigns needed to turn that broad range and distinctive brand imagery into relevant product journeys for customers across the UK and Europe.

We needed to focus budgets on the strongest products, coordinate seasonal creative with the client team and adapt campaigns to local markets. The results below show month-on-month gains in Meta-reported performance during peak-season activity.

The solution

Our paid social team refined catalogue activity around Best Seller, Gear and Apparel collections, giving relevant products more opportunity to reach interested shoppers. We combined seasonal sale messaging with tests for individual products and brand creative, then used performance benchmarks to decide which ads to pause, refine or scale.

During the peak-season comparison, Meta-reported purchases rose from 271 to 412 and purchase value increased from £42,599 to £63,527. Ad spend increased by approximately 17%, while reported purchase return on ad spend improved from 7.33x to 9.30x. These figures use Meta’s purchase attribution.

Our PPC team reviewed Shopping product groups, Performance Max audiences and search themes, negative keywords and bidding targets. We reduced spend on weaker product groups and refreshed images, video, ad copy and sitelinks to reflect seasonal demand. We worked with the client team on approved assets and translations so European messaging retained the brand’s meaning.

As demand softened after the summer peak, we shifted product focus towards outdoor heating, cooking and autumn/winter apparel, and developed German Search activity. We also worked on campaign tagging and purchase measurement. Ongoing reviews of country performance, product demand and attribution help guide the next round of improvements.
