Cotswolds-based farm park and family attraction

The challenge

Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park brings together rare breed animals, family days out, seasonal events and countryside holidays. Its website needed to help people discover this range of experiences through organic search and find the right information before booking.

The brand already had strong recognition, but our initial analysis identified a sharp decline in its wider keyword visibility. Technical barriers, unclear page structure and gaps in content were limiting its search potential. We needed to strengthen the SEO foundations while giving each attraction, event and accommodation option a clearer purpose on the website.

The solution

We began with a technical crawl and a review of the site’s keyword history, page headings and content structure. We mapped search terms to the most relevant pages and grouped the existing content to make the opportunities and gaps clear.

Our SEO team updated robots.txt, made initial page structure improvements and created six pages of farm animal collection content. This gave the park more focused information to answer relevant searches and showcase the experiences visitors can enjoy.

We also created a performance dashboard and reviewed the quality of the underlying data, bringing website activity and Google Search Console visibility into one place. This supports a clear, ongoing view of the SEO programme.

The next phase focuses on page structure, useful content and internal linking across the farm park, events and accommodation. Organic traffic is now showing positive year-on-year growth, with more sessions, more page views and more engaged visits from search.
