An eCommerce site selling tech products such as smartphones, tablets, and watches.
Wired Media had worked with the client for a previous business, and he was impressed with our work ethic and ability to resolve technical issues, so became a return customer.
The client wanted a complex website that would enable him to sell products online via his own website and as well as using the website to drive products to third-party platforms.
He also had a legacy system for product and stock management that needed to drive the website and in doing so, the third-party platforms.
The new website needed to increase sales, perform well on Google and other search engines, and improve the overall user journey.
Our team of web developers and UX designers set out on our ten-step process, including outlining the goals in an initial brief, creating wireframes and sitemaps based on user journeys, designing the new site concepts, building and coding the site, implementing content, migrating data from the previous site, testing, and finally, deploying the new website.
We found solutions to pulling content from the legacy system to the new site and third-party platforms, ultimately creating a first-class website for the client, achieving his set objectives.
We were particularly pleased with the configuration of the new search function of the website, and the client was impressed with an increase in sale volumes and individual sale amounts, with some of the highest individual sales valued at over £1,000.
We started working with Wired Media in 2019, and they’ve been a great partner for us. They’ve helped us launch two new websites that have not only improved the customer journey but also helped drive a significant increase in organic website traffic. Additionally, they've been a lead in increasing our eCommerce sales by tenfold. In a partner, we always look for someone with a similar outlook and way of working, and Wired Media hasn't let us down. They've always been responsive and proactive. They're a great bunch who we've genuinely enjoyed working with. We're very excited about the future and see Wired Media as a key partner in increasing our revenues from online sales and bookings.
