Trollbeads have been designing and hand-crafting luxurious beads that adorn glamorous arms, ears, and wrists since 1976. A dedication to using only the finest raw materials has earned Trollbeads a loyal customer following.

Each bead within the Trollbeads collection is unique, and steeped with a rich heritage and symbolism. We were over-joyed when Trollbeads approached us with the brief of building them a website that reflected the history and beauty their high-end brand.

We created a user-centric website that's design was ‘bang on brand' in terms of conveying the beauty and elegance of the brand. Using the theme of ‘play' we made the website interactive and utilised user-generated content that could easily be shared. The interactive nature of the site played on nostalgic feelings of making jewellery as a child, whilst retaining the exclusive feel.

With the designs signed off and the content and functionality agreed we got down to the business of building the website. We find nothing more satisfying than seeing the website come to life.

CMS

The website was built using our powerful ecommcerce system (WiredEcommerce) which enables Trollbeads to update the website themselves. Whether it's adding new beads, updating prices or managing their orders they can do this themselves quickly and easily via their secure admin area.

Online Community

The website was integrated with some of the major social media platforms eg. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, WordPress, Mailchimp & Get Satisfaction. This allows Trollbeads the ability to not only build an online community but also to engage with it.

Build A Bracelet

The customer can build their bracelet online to see how the chain and beads will look before they buy it.
