The PressWise Trust is an independent media ethics charity, set up in 1993 by 'victims of media abuse', supported by concerned journalists, media lawyers and politicians in the UK. We believe that press freedom is a responsibility exercised by journalists on behalf of the public. Our primary purpose is to provide advice, information, research and training on all aspects of media policy, practice and law.
